BTS&SAKER Joins EBMI 2026 as Li-ion Battery Recycling Specialist
BTS&SAKER brings advanced battery recycling expertise to EBMI 2026, supporting sustainable resource recovery across the European battery value chain.

BTS&SAKER is pleased to announce its participation in EBMI 2026 in Frankfurt, where the company will present its comprehensive Li-ion battery recycling capabilities and its role in supporting the growing European battery value chain. Officially founded in 2021, BTS&SAKER was created through the cooperation of two multinational groups: BTS, a member of the ISD Group from South Korea, and Saker, a member of the Loacker Group from Austria. The company combines international industrial experience with a focused commitment to safe, efficient and sustainable battery recycling. BTS&SAKER operates a dedicated recycling plant in Osła, Poland, strategically located close to the German border. The facility is designed for the mechanical processing of end-of-life Li-ion batteries and production scrap, with automated processes that support high standards of safety, quality and operational efficiency. The company currently recycles available types of Li-ion batteries based on NMC chemistry and is also preparing for the recycling of LFP chemistry. With a processing capacity of approximately 3–4 metric tonnes per hour and double-shift operation, BTS&SAKER is positioned to meet the increasing demand for reliable recycling capacity in Europe. By applying best available technologies and working within an integrated management system, BTS&SAKER aims to provide customers with high-quality recycling services while contributing to resource recovery, material circularity and the development of a more sustainable battery industry. Visitors to EBMI 2026 will have the opportunity to meet the BTS&SAKER team and learn more about the company’s recycling processes, capacity and long-term commitment to the circular economy.
