THEIA HOT - METALLURGICAL PROCESSES – CONCENTRATION OF VALUES
In the first step, the recyclable materials undergo precise metallurgical processing. They are melted in a plasma furnace at high temperatures with the addition of a collector metal. This process significantly reduces the volume and binds the precious metals in a highly concentrated form. Subsequently, conversion takes place: through targeted oxygen supply, the concentrate is further optimized with the aim of obtaining a maximum precious metal concentrate. This creates the perfect basis for the subsequent high-purity refining in THEIA WET.
THEIA WET - CHEMICAL PROCESSES – PURITY OF ELEMENTS
Our in-house developed wet chemical process ensures the efficient and precise refining of the previously concentrated precious metals. Through targeted chemical steps, the highest purity and maximum recovery are achieved. The result is highly pure elements such as rhodium, palladium, or platinum– ready for further use in the industrial value chains.
