Navigating geopolitical risks in metal supply chains
Geopolitics can change market conditions and disrupt metal supply chains. In recent years, the particularly dynamic geopolitical playing field has forced both industry and governments to ask themselves which changes could be made to truly improve mineral access and security. In light of this, this panel discussion looks at how the current geopolitics are affecting metal supply chains and impacting different stakeholders. It explores ways that circularity and other practical measures can help to alleviate geopolitical risk, while also examining the structural challenges Europe faces in relation to metal recycling and mineral circularity.
