Devin Boom

Senior Scientist and Program Manager , TNO

Dr. Devin H.A. Boom obtained his PhD in main-group and organometallic chemistry in 2018 at the University of Amsterdam. Currently, he serves as a senior scientist and program manager at the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO). His research focuses on the development of sustainable recycling processes for the recovery of critical and strategic materials from waste streams, of which Li-ion recycling is of big interest. Specifically, his interests lie in the electrification of chemical recycling processes to regenerate reagents and increase the overall sustainability and cost-efficiency of the processes.
