Henri-François Boedt
Henri-François Boedt is a senior loan officer at EIB (European Investment Bank), with a long-standing experience in the financing of innovation and start-ups/scale-ups in particular.
He focuses on investments to innovative companies in the CleanTech sector. The financing is typically structured as “Venture Debt” or “equity-risk” loans, with a participation to the upside in the form of warrants, synthetic warrants or royalties.
Within EIB group, he also worked at EIF, on investments in early stage Venture Capital / Technology Transfer funds. Prior to EIF, he worked for ArcelorMittal on Merger & Acquisitions and was involved in the creation and management of an e-commerce start-up company. He also worked as a management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group and for OC&C.
Mr Boedt has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) and a Commercial Engineering degree from the FH Wedel (Hamburg, Germany). He also attended the Young Manager Programme at INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France).
