After graduating in international management in 2006, Sebastian worked for the sales company of the food discounter Lidl. He then spent three years as a commodities trader at DEUMU, the purchasing company of Salzgitter AG. There he was responsible for raw materials procurement, most recently in the steel scrap sector. Since 2010, Sebastian Will has been working for Heinz Will GmbH & Co. KG, first as a trader and then as managing director. Sebastian is a member of the board of the bvse (Federal Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Disposal) and has been vice president of Recycling Europe, the European umbrella organization for the recycling industry, since 2025.
