Our product portfolio includes large drives, high-and low-voltage motors. By using frequency converters, soft starters and liquid starters, we offer our customers complete drive systems. EMZ is represented worldwide in all industries and supplies customers with applications in the cement and mining, steel and recycling, wood and paper, pumps, power plants and chemicals sectors.
EMK Low-voltage motors
Optimised design, robust construction, power range of up to 1,000 kW. The motors are suitable for all areas of application.
High-voltage – Compact series
AKR and ASR motors is the all-rounder for all applications up to 2,000 kW, for direct on line as well as for VFD operation.
High-voltage – Modular series
Designed for the hardest applications in heavy industry with efficient cooling methods and a rated output of up to 20,000 kW.
Special motors
We offer a variety of customised solutions for a wide range of applications, such as shredder drives, retrofit solutions, synchronous motors or ATEX motors.
Resistance starters
The EMZ liquid starters are robust and economical solution for the controlled start-up and torque control of slip ring motors in applications with high moments of inertia, for example cement mills or metal shredder.
Soft starters
The electronic EMZ soft starters enable a controlled reduction of the inrush current and the starting torque when starting squirrel cage motors on fan or pump applications.
Frequency converters
From 400/690V solutions and multilevel frequency converters for medium-voltage drives to stand-alone container solutions, EMZ plans the design of your complete drive system.
