2nd Cycle is a dynamic Clean Tech start-up dedicated to revolutionizing the circular economy in the photovoltaic (PV) industry. Our innovative focus lies in developing automated technologies that extend the lifecycle of PV modules through advanced reuse and recycling solutions. Based in Lower Austria, 2nd Cycle combines cutting-edge engineering, artificial intelligence, and sustainable practices to address the growing challenge of managing end-of-life PV modules.

With over 4 billion PV modules installed worldwide, the need for efficient and eco-friendly solutions has never been greater. At 2nd Cycle, we aim to bridge the gap between reuse and recycling, ensuring that valuable resources are preserved while reducing waste. Our fully automated upcycling plant includes state-of-the-art processes such as cleaning, testing, and sorting modules for second-life applications or optimized recycling.
