Officially founded in 2021, BTS & Saker was created as a merger of two multinational companies BTS (member of the ISD group – South Korea) and Saker (member of the Loacker group – Austria). The company is engaged in the comprehensive recycling of Li-ion batteries and has built its plant in the city of Oslo (Poland), in a strategic location close to the German border. Currently, the company recycles all available types of Li-ion batteries of NMC chemistry and in 2025, after final adjustments of the technology, recycling of LFP chemistry will be launched. The company is currently using BAT technology to be able to meet the demands of its customers and to do its part to increase the efficiency of the circular economy. All recycling processes are fully automated and provide multi-level mechanical processing of the batteries in question.
