On the back of developing national e-waste policies and legislation to address the growth of end-of-life electrical and electronic products, John Cockerill is supporting electronics recycling companies with its Multiple Hearth Furnace (MHF) designed to effectively treat electronic scraps through a pyrolysis process. This MHF is specifically customized to treat low grade E-waste (thus WEEE residues containing minimum 40% volatile matter) allowing to keep low-grade E-waste from ending up in landfills or being dumped in developing countries.
Our innovative pyrolysis process allows to recover up to 98% of the metals contained in e-waste while mitigating harmful emissions associated with traditional metal reclamation, making the treatment even more sustainable. An environmentally friendly and proven technology to pre-process e-waste, reducing volumes and organic components while concentrating metal content. John Cockerill’s ‘NESACore™ MHF’ technology has demonstrated its efficiency in e-waste processing and in more than 150 other industrial applications.
