Mitsui chemicals Asahi Life materials is the joint venture of Mitsui chemicals and Asahi kasei, toward its ambition of becoming the world’s leading nonwovens company. By supplying nonwoven products essential to daily life, we aim to contribute to increasing people’s quality of life, achieve further business growth and help to bring about a sustainable society.

Especially, EUTEC^TM is a separation system using microfilament nonwoven material by our company. This technology is based on nonwoven media and its application development. Among these products, EUTEC FS filters make it possible to separate two immiscible liquids and enable the separation of free water (or free oil) from heterogeneous oil-water mixtures. We have been continually broadening applications as liquid-liquid separation filters, including metal-extraction or solvent extraction of hydrometallurgical process in battery recycling. In this application, we offer the technology for improving productivity and quality of the recycled metals.
