Souphaphone Soudachanh from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) will present a situation analysis of the current e-waste management landscape in South-East Asia, specifically highlighting the case study of Laos. This includes an overview of the quantities of electronic devices and e-waste generated, an assessment of the legal framework, as well as an evaluation of the existing treatment practices and the impact of neighbouring countries on Laos' e-waste situation.
