Alireza Rastegarpanah wears several hats; he is a Senior Robotic Scientist at the Faraday Institution and The University of Birmingham (UoB), Co-Founder of the National Sustainable Robotics Centre, and Co-PI of the EU-funded REBELION project. Additionally, he is a Co-founder of the UoB Extreme Robotics Lab. His research primarily focuses on robotizing the process of testing, disassembling, and sorting EV batteries for reuse and recycling.
