Christine Nikander has been doing research into the legal and policy framework surrounding e-waste and conflict minerals since 2015. In The E-Waste Column, she draws upon this expertise and regularly writes about recent developments in law, policy, and business. Christine founded the environmental and social sustainability consultancy, Palsa & Pulk in 2022. She is the CEO and the principal advisor of the company. Christine holds a Master of Laws from Columbia University in New York and an LL.M. in Global Environment and Climate Change Law from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
