The highly anticipated co-location of E-Waste World 2023 with the Battery Recycling and Metal Recycling Conference & Expos proved to be an overwhelming success, bringing together 2,000 unique visitors from 60+ countries. The event, held from 28-29 June 2023 at the Messe Frankfurt, Germany, created a unique platform for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange in the fields of e-waste management, battery recycling, metal & CRM recycling.
E-Waste World has long been recognised as the leading event in the electronic waste industry, and this year’s edition surpassed all expectations. The conference itself owned two dedicated tracks delivered by an envious lineup of keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops led by eBay, BHS Hausgerate and WEE Forum, and a comprehensive exhibition showcasing 100+ cutting-edge technologies, solutions, and services from StoneX, Enviropol and Prall-Tec. 2,000+ companies had the opportunity to explore the latest trends, advancements, and best practice processes in managing waste responsibly.
The Battery Recycling and Metal Recycling Conference & Expos, co-located with E-Waste World, added an invaluable dimension to the event. Each with its own focused conference track, provided an in-depth exploration of sustainable practices, circular economy principles, and innovative technologies in battery recycling and metal recovery. Designed to foster collaboration and accelerate positive change in the recycling industry.
Received with gratitude by all its stakeholders, Christian Hagelüken, Director EU Government Affairs Umicore commented: “The fourth edition of this conference and exhibition at Frankfurt proved again worth to be visited. Many interesting presentations and panels in 4 parallel tracks, an informative exhibition space, lots of networking and meeting opportunities, good discussions – and fun. Congrats to the Trans-Global Events Team for the excellent set-up and organisation, looking forward to meet again in Frankfurt, in 2024.”
