After a degree in chemical engineering and a PhD in Heterogeneous catalysis, he was hired by ExxonMobil in 2012. He worked in various technology department around the production of hydrocarbon fluids including process development, manufacturing technology and laboratory supervision. He is currently in the position of performance liquid customer application specialist where he supports his customer to select the best solvent for their application and this include battery recycling, mining and the so-called urban mining.
