Dominik Reichert studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with specializations in vehicle and engine technology. As part of his doctorate at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), he is conducting research on circular economy approaches and solutions for closing material loops in the automotive industry. His research includes the assessment and systemic optimization of material flows as well as the development of assessment methods for material loops. Dominik Reichert is involved in different research projects, focusing in particular on sustainable vehicle design and end-of-life vehicle treatment. In Car2Car, he is analyzing material flows from end-of-life vehicle recycling and assessing closed-loop potentials for different materials.
