As the war in Syria took over the country, he was forced to close the company. His project Virtual Mall, as part of Smart Gov of Dubai, was implemented in Metro stations and won the most innovative e-commence project at MWC 2016. Since 2015, he has focused his attention on his passion for materials science; forming Carbon Mobile to challenge unsustainable sector norms. Limited by resources, he learned Mechanical Engineering himself to develop the first prototypes that would attract major players including Etisalat in Dubai and Deutsche Telekom.
