Dr. Marius Kern is an experienced researcher with a solid background in economic geology and geometallurgy. He is currently a researcher in the Recycling Group of the German Mineral Resources Agency (DERA), where he focuses on the in-depth study of global trade patterns and prices of secondary raw materials. During more than six years at the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF), Dr. Kern successfully completed his PhD and post-doctoral studies. He enjoys analyzing complex data sets to illustrate the differences between primary and secondary commodities.
