Tilmann Vahle
Lead, Sustainable Mobility and Batteries
Tilmann leads Systemiq’s programs on sustainable mobility, batteries, and raw material value chains. After completing his interdisciplinary studies (honours) in European politics and economics at Maastricht University with distinction, Tilmann worked with EY sustainability and Volkswagen AG Corporate Foresight. He has been responsible for seminal reports on circular traction batteries and automotive by the Circular Economy Initiative Germany, Global Battery Alliance, and the World Economic Forum. He created and leads the Battery Pass project, Germany’s strategic initiative to fulfil the EU battery regulation’s requirements, and led several advisory, research and investment projects on the tracking and tracing of technical materials.
