Frankfurt's environmental zone

The environmental zone encompasses the area within the "motorway ring". It is bordered to the west by the A5, to the south by the A3, and to the east and north by the A661. Anyone caught driving in the environmental zone without a sticker or valid exemption permit  faces substantial fines.

Vehicles without an emissions sticker can access the exhibition grounds via the West and North Gates. These can be reached from the A5 via the A648, Rebstock exit, or via the Katharinen roundabout. The Rebstock exhibition center parking garage can also be reached via the Rebstock exit. Driving in the environmental zone (areas marked in red) is only permitted with an emissions sticker.
